The New Science Fiction

It would be hard to describe such a film. My only advice is go see it and don't make up your mind in the first minutes after leaving the cinema. I did and soon changed it. You will still be thinking about it for weeks, which undoubtedly makes this a great film. It's lyrical, it's haunting (check the Bosch inspired imagery), it looks great and it's skilfully performed. This is an examination of death and grief wrapped up in a metaphysical science fiction film. A kind of ‘Dead Man’ mixed with ‘2001, A Space Odyssey’ if one can engage in such heretic comparisons. A truly original piece of filmmaking.
Meet the 'New Science Fiction'.
